An editorial project about dwelling

Some places have always been waiting for you.

You do not know them yet, and still something tells you they could become home.

Dwelling

A home does not begin with its walls.

It begins with a repeated gesture, a window we learn to recognise, the road that leads us back.

To us, dwelling means building a relationship with a space and everything around it.

A person looks towards a country house among trees and mountains
Before ownership comes the feeling of recognising yourself in a place.

Places

The landscape enters every room.

The sea opens the view, the woods slow your step, a village preserves voices. Every home also belongs to the land that holds it.

Stories

Homes speak through the people who live in them.

We gather encounters, choices and transformations. Not property listings, but stories able to reveal the character of a place and the future it may hold.

The images in this first edition are visual interpretations, not documentation of actual properties.

Four gestures

Dwelling means

Living

Letting habits give a personal shape to a space.

Choosing

Recognising something of ourselves in the landscape.

Remembering

Preserving the traces of those who passed through those rooms.

Changing

Opening a door and imagining a new possibility.

Homes

A home within a story.

In Filignano there is a house that has lived through generations, habits, returns and change.
We tell its story not through what it contains, but through what it has preserved.
